Bear Creek High School is seeking an experienced Director of Color Guard for the Winter 2016-17 and successive fall and winter seasons. This individual will be responsible for the growth and development of the students and the instrumental music program as a whole, including but not limited to: · Recruiting new members through audition camps in May and November · Training students with the fundamentals of equipment, dance, and performance · Designing multiple aspects of productions in coordination with other staff members · Choreographing the color guard and sections of visuals for the marching band · Assisting members of the color guard and marching band in improving their technical and performance skills · Planning and scheduling including all necessary paperwork, itineraries, communication to parents and rehearsal agendas · Budgeting and purchase for the needs of the program in current and future seasons · Communicating effectively with the director, staff, students, parents and other parties as necessary · Advising the band director on the needs of the program including purchases, technical staff, scheduling, travel, etc. · Applicants should submit a resume and list all pertinent experience. Legend High School Head Marching Percussion Instructor Legend HS has an opening for a Head Marching Percussion
Instructor for the 2022 summer and fall season. A qualified candidate will have
past experience as either a Front Ensemble or Drumline lead instructor. Responsibilities
include weekly after school and Saturday rehearsals and/or events.
Loveland High School Director of Guards We
are excited to grow the guard program and are looking for a passionate
educator to continue this work. Potential for expansion in the next 2-3
years is likely and being planned for by the Band Boosters and Director
of Bands. The Director will have input regarding the direction and
vision for the program. This
position will oversee the guard program in collaboration with the
Director of Bands and the Design Team. Director responsibilities will
include, teaching of all guard students, attending
rehearsals/camps/performances, providing input on rehearsal planning,
recruitment/retention, managing inventory, guiding new programs for
elementary/middle school students, and advising the Director of Bands on
hiring of additional guard staff.
QUALIFICATIONS: - WGI and/or DCI performer experience. - Experience teaching dance, movement, and equipment. - Ability to pass district background check and safety training. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Desire to build a large program. Compensation
is negotiable, based on experience/skills, and will be provided by a
district extra duty contract and a supplemental contract with the

The BAND Director Position at
Montezuma-Cortez High School is opened starting the 2022-2023 school
year. The band at MCHS has a rich and strong tradition in all aspects of
its instrumental music program: Including Marching Band, Symphonic
Winds, Jazz Band, Pep Band, and various small ensembles. The Marching
Panthers have qualified for the CBA State Marching Festival every year
since 1981, missing finals only 3 times in that period of time. Winning
CBA State 5 times. The Symphonic Winds and Jazz Band consistently
receive superior and excellent ratings at the festivals they attend.
There
is a strong and established band parents organization in place that
provides financial and personal support for the many facets of the
program. The community support for the program is outstanding.
The
Cortez Middle School Band program provides an incredibly strong base of
student musicians that continue on to the high school. The CMS Bands
have won the NAMM Support Music Merit Award the past two school years.
6th grade band consistently starts 60+ students each year. The 7th and
8th grade bands continuously receive superior and excellent ratings at
the festivals they attend.
Montezuma-Cortez
is a solid 2A school. The school itself is a 7 year old building.
Terrific band room and OUTSTANDING performance hall.

Eaton High School Band Director
Eaton High School has a flourishing band program including two concert
bands, two jazz bands, competitive marching band, and pep band. The
program was just awarded over $80,000 dollars in new equipment and
instruments, as well as a brand new high school, marching field,
auditorium, and band room! GREAT kids, extremely supportive community,
